What data we process and why
If you contact us through the form, by e-mail or via WhatsApp, we process the data you provide: name, company, e-mail address, phone number, message and, where given, product name and quantity. We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and conduct business correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
Price list download
If you download the PDF price list, we process the e-mail address you provide and (optionally) your company name to make the file available, send you the link and contact you about the offer. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to office@cotline.pl. The data is stored in our register of enquiries and downloads.
The WhatsApp button opens a chat in the WhatsApp app (Meta). WhatsApp processes data under its own terms, and we see the phone number and the content of the messages you send us. You do not have to use the button and can write to us by e-mail instead.
Recipients of data
We entrust data to providers that run the website and e-mail (hosting and e-mail: Hostinger). We do not sell data. WhatsApp (Meta) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area on the basis of safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
How long we keep data
For as long as needed to handle the enquiry and the cooperation, and then until limitation periods for claims and tax and accounting obligations expire, where these apply to the cooperation.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office). To exercise your rights, write to: office@cotline.pl.
